Experience the Caminito del Rey
Experience the Caminito del Rey, one of the finest ways to spend a few hours in this area. The cliffs of the gorge, now so high and vertical, were once sea bed; the slow movement of the earth’s plates formed the gorge and the dramatic rock of El Torcal. The hydroelectric works at the end of the 19th century created the jewel-like lakes that still add beauty to the landscape and supply water to the region.
